Reshaping tourism through sustainable investments in projects

The Next Tourism Generation Alliance will be represented by project leader Silvia Barbone during the free Live Session on ‘Reshaping tourism through sustainable investments in projects’, Thursday, March 28th, 2019 at 3 pm CET (Berlin). Silvia will be one of the tourism and development experts explaining how the NTG project is aiming to achieve successful results, ensuring tangible and lasting benefits when it comes to projects in sustainable tourism. Sustainability in tourism has seen increasing recognition in the last years, but too often the expected results were not achieved. Sustainable hospitality in the Balkan-Mediterranean

Building capacity of umbrella organizations to support sustainable hospitality

 

Next Tourism Generation (NTG) key partner Varna University of Management presented the NTG project during the workshop at the HELIX project on February 21, 2019. The HELIX project focuses on the potential of the Balkan-Mediterranean hospitality sector, in order to boost the regional and national economic growth. Furthermore, new employment opportunities are rising in this area as well.

Next Tourism Generation represented at EFFAT

As a result of the first phase of the second work package of the Next Tourism Generation (NTG) – aims at creating an Industry Skills Needs Assessment Report representing a database of (future) skills criteria / industry needs – the desk research report has been completed. It was composed under supervision of Breda University of Applied Sciences, and provides an overview of existing (European and global) studies, developments and reports related to skills gaps in digital, green and social skills.READ MORE

Introducing the Summer School Event venue: Villages Nature Paris, ‘a brand new holiday experience’

The event venue of this years Europe Summer School, in collaboration with NTG, this October will be the beautiful Villages Nature Paris. With pride, the park represents itself as ‘a brand new holiday concept’. It has been established through a successful collaboration between Euro Disney SCA and Pierre et Vacances Center Parcs Group. The park excels as a model for sustainable tourism using primely geothermal energy, sending zero waste to landfill, having no automobiles in the Village, and more that contributes positively to the environment.
