Summer School Europe – October 2018, Paris
The Summer School in Leadership and Governance for Sustainable Tourism is an annual European event developed by FEST – Foundation for European Sustainable Tourism with the aim of addressing one very important theme in today’s tourism industry:
How to improve the success of sustainable tourism projects and monitor their benefits?
The 2018 edition will be a major EU event in partnership with the Next Tourism Generation Alliance (NTG) consortium led by Federturismo Confindustria, and in collaboration with FEST Foundation for European Sustainable Tourism, ETC European Travel Commission, the Blue Community Consortium and Villages Nature ® Paris as key partners.
This event will be co-hosted by the Next Tourism Generation Alliance and has selected the following theme: “Skills, Careers and Strategic Alliances for sustainable tourism”. NTG is the first European partnership and Alliance to create transformative cooperation for skills and careers between education and industry in five key tourism sub-sectors: hospitality, food and beverage operations, travel agencies and tour operators, visitor attractions and destination management.
The event is for tourism leaders and destinations, planners, trainers, funders, policy makers, academics, students and entrepreneurs. It brings together key representatives of the tourism sector: donors, representatives of European and international organizations, policy makers, industry representatives, project management practitioners, academics, planners, investors and entrepreneurs. During those days, professionals in the industry will speak during workshops and informative sessions and inspire others. The details of the program can be found here: https://bit.ly/2QQS7wB
